Workshops for small groups
A creative workshop for small teams: swap the meeting room for mallets and chisels, and discover what it means to carve stone together. These sessions are for groups of 2-6 people, with the workshop dedicated entirely to your team for the day.

Why this works:
Stone carving is inherently non-hierarchical. Everyone starts as a beginner, regardless of job title. The work demands focus and patience, creating natural pauses in conversation and a shared rhythm that’s rare in office environments.
There are no screens, no phones, no power tools – just the steady progress of a design taking shape under hand tools. By the end of the day, each person has made something lasting with their own hands, and teams often report a different quality of conversation emerging around the workbenches.
What happens:
The session runs from 10am to 4pm. After introductions and a brief demonstration, each participant begins carving their own Celtic knot in Maltese limestone using traditional hammer and chisel. I provide clear tuition throughout, moving between workbenches as questions arise.

We break for lunch mid-day, then continue with the afternoon’s carving. Most people finish their piece by mid-afternoon, leaving time for a final polish and reflection on the day. Everyone leaves with their finished carving and a certificate of completion – and the day often ends with a glass of something celebratory.
